When She Says No
My hope was high
When she said hi.
I felt the exchange of the protons
And so were the neutrons,
But I guess it’s done
Just like yesterday is gone.
I knew this through facebook
Because I was not reading my book.

And she dropped me a vote.

Just like an old toy,
When I heard her voice…

Upon hearing that
I automatically miss my dad.
