How Jesus Saved Me

I heard of Jesus Christ when I was nine years old, preached to me by my dying dad. However, I did not accept him right away to be my personal Lord and Savior. But I do remember this: I was out fishing, trying to catch a fish of a notable size that would feed me and my family. At the time, I did not catch any and the sun was going down, so, I became anxious. But some how, I remember my dad’s preaching that if we pray to Jesus Christ and ask him for whatever it pleases Him—he will graciously give it to us. I prayed (although at the time, I did not know what prayer really means) to Jesus asking him for a fish. Almost immediately, I caught a fish of a notable size that fed all of the mouths in my family. To better termed this; Jesus gave me a fish! Still I did not accept him right away, at least not until I came to Asian Hope; the place where the Gospel is clearly preached. Now I would count myself a Christian—a disciples of Jesus Christ.
